The Grab Hook Dual-Purpose Gantry Crane is a versatile heavy-duty lifting solution manufactured by Henan Mine, featuring two independent lifting mechanisms on a single gantry structure—one equipped with a grab bucket for bulk materials such as coal, ore, sand, grain, and scrap, and the other with a standard hook for heavy individual loads including steel coils, machinery, containers, and structural components.
This crane combines the operational flexibility of dual-purpose design (eliminating the need for separate cranes) with the space efficiency of gantry configuration (U-type or L-type legs allowing trucks or rail cars to pass under), available in both single-beam (light to medium duty) and double-beam (heavy duty) constructions.
The grab bucket operates using a four-rope double-drum mechanism with dual motors (lifting + opening/closing), while the hook mechanism features standard electric hoist or wire rope trolley with variable frequency drive for smooth operation. Typical specifications include lifting capacity from 5 to 50 tons (grab) and 3 to 50 tons (hook), spans from 10.5 to 35 meters, lifting heights from 6 to 30 meters, grab volume from 0.75 to 5 cubic meters, working duty class A6 to A8, and ambient temperature range from -25°C to +45°C.s.
