The Electromagnetic Gantry Crane is a specialized heavy-duty lifting solution manufactured by Henan Mine, featuring a powerful electromagnetic lifting system mounted on a robust gantry structure for non-contact handling of ferrous materials such as steel plates, coils, billets, pig iron, scrap metal, steel bars, and structural steel components. This crane consists of a double-girder or single-girder main beam (box-type or truss), U-type or L-type legs for vehicle passage, a lower crossbeam with traveling wheels, an electromagnet suspended from the hoist mechanism (typically 5-32t capacity), a silicon-controlled rectifier converting AC to DC power, and an emergency battery backup system maintaining magnetic force for 10-30 minutes during power failures to prevent dropped loads.

The crane features forced demagnetization for instant load release, variable magnetic force control stepless adjustment, and operates under working duty class A6 to A8 for continuous heavy service. Typical specifications include lifting capacity from 5 to 50 tons (including magnet weight), spans from 10.5 to 50 meters, lifting heights from 6 to 30 meters, grab/lift speeds of 6-15 m/min, operating temperature from -20°C to +60°C, and control options including cabin operation (recommended), wireless remote, or ground pendant with optional variable frequency drive for smooth positioning and anti-sway technology.

1.Steel Service Centers & Metal Yards – Lifts and stacks steel plates, coils, billets, structural beams, and rebar bundles from storage racks to shearing, slitting, or blanking lines without manual slings or bundling, with telescopic beam adjusting magnet spacing to match material length.
2.Scrap Metal Recycling Yards – Collects, sorts, and loads loose scrap iron, shredded steel, pig iron, and metal waste directly into rail cars, trucks, or shearing presses from large storage piles, with deep field magnet design handling irregular and tangled scrap efficiently.
