This crane combines the operational flexibility of dual-trolley configuration (allowing both trolleys to work separately for dual-load handling or synchronize for coordinated lifting of extra-long loads) with the engineering advantages of truss design (strong wind resistance with wind pressure less than 125Pa, small windward side, easy installation and maintenance, and lower manufacturing cost compared to box-type gantry cranes).

The crane is used together with CD1, MD1, or other models of electric hoists, with each hoist traveling along the lower flange of the main beam's I-beam to complete lifting operations independently.
